WINGS is a public art project created by Singapore artist and photographer Ernest Goh, in collaboration with Tampines Town Council and Tampines MP Mr Baey Yam Keng. The community-driven project is part of Tampines North’s Neighbourhood Renewal Programme, which enhances the living environment of the precinct. With the WINGS project incorporated into the precinct’s NRP, residents can enjoy art and new amenities at the same time.

Furthermore, in line with Tampines Town Council's sustainability efforts, paints which are air-purifying, free from odour and harmful VOCs were used in the creation of the murals.

In line with his ecology-focused practice, the artist, together with community partner Brahm Centre Tampines, engaged Tampines North residents through artmaking workshops using post-consumer plastic waste to make butterfly-shaped tiles that adorned the walls of the RC corner.
