Using a Saori loom, Eileen weaves fabrics of her own design with 'guanyin' patience and 'godlike' consistency. Dabbling both kasuri and saori techniques, she wants to master precision and expression, not limiting herself to one school of thought just yet. She's been to Japan several times to learn the techniques and immerse herself in the community of like-minded creators who share the same love for weaving.
It is important to surround yourself with the right kind of people and declutter your mind to do things that are worth your time and effort. Some things may not bring in the dough but they can definitely feed your soul.
